If I'm serious about scripting, the Jython interpreter should
be embedded, otherwise installing it is another barrier to use --
especially on Windows and Mac where you can't just do it in a couple
of clicks through the software centre.

Python scripts can now be run either from a menu item or
by passing a filename on the command line. The functionality
is documented in the manual.
