Faye pointed out that the tool-tip text for the 
hideSelectedPoints action (‘Hide the selected points in 
all selected samples’) can easily be misconstrued to mean
‘for each selected sample, hide the points corresponding to
the selection within *this* sample’. She suggests rewording
to ‘Hide the selected points’.
